OS: Throwback Thursday’s v1.0

Posted by thekidLEGEND - June 19, 2008

With all the talk of the “F*** Mixtape DJ’s” and “DJ’s Being Dead”, OnSMASH and Miss Info have decided to pay homage to the pioneers of the artform, in an effort to show respect to those who paved the way for alot of us. Throwback Thursdays will consist of rare jewels and classic mixtapes alot of people forgot about, and most have not heard. Every week, we will feature those lost gems we had to dig in the crates and archives to find. Stay tuned because we have alot in the works in the coming weeks. Walk down memory lane with us as we start jumpstart this week with DJ Clue - Platinum Plus. First released in 1997, Cluemanatti got The Firm to host this project, which features everyone from Jay-Z, Mobb Deep, CNN, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, AZ, Peter Gunz & Lord Tariq, Ma$e and many more. Remember when…..?

Good look on the old school joint. But I’m with Big Homie. You got any of those diaz brothers or doo wop mixtapes. I use to love those intros. And I was wonder if you might know the name of this mobb deep joint that featured big noyd that had like this old chinese sounding beat blended with it. I don’t know if it was a remix or the original.
