A little more than two years after Don Imus dubbed the Rutgers University Women’s Basketball team “Nappy headed hoes”, controversy is brewing over a message posted to Asher Roth’s twitter page Thursday night.
“Been a day of rest and relaxation, sorry twitter – hanging out with nappy headed hoes”
He was scheduled to perform at the school that night. He seems to have apologized in another post, but all posts from him regarding the incident have since been deleted. Here are a few initial reactions from other twitter users after the jump…
