Boston Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls: Game 7

Posted by thekidLEGEND - May 2, 2009

With this first round series being one of the best I can remember, the final showdown all comes down to game 7. We have seen everything from Ray Allen’s last second shot heroics, Rajon Rondo’s dirty playing hard fouls, to the Ben Gordon’s clutch shooting in overtime. Derrick Rose’s performance thus far has been one for the history books (don’t forget that block in triple overtime), but who will really come to play in Boston come gametime. Will Boston’s experience override the baby Bulls’ heart?… Who You Wit?

dirty playing? rondo has shown so much heart this series, what he’s done so far is going to earn himself a name right next to chris paul in the elite pg class of the nba.

not to mention his 21.5 ppg, 11.7 apg and 10.0 rpg.. only magic, j-kidd, fat lever, and wilt have ever matched what rondo is doing in a seven game series.. thats some damn good company and i ain’t even a c’s fan..

but yea this has been a no doubt classic series, i can’t believe the quality of sports lately, not just this series. it seems like every season in every sport we’ve been gettin some real memorable moments, maybe its just me..

^dog, that cheap shot at Brad Miller in game 5 where he gave him 6 stitches to his mouth? and then when he threw Kirk Hinrich into the stands?

    Bulls for the win tonight.

the hit on miller you can call dirty i guess, but we’ll never know what really goes through these guys’ minds..

the incident with hinrich to me was the product of 5 games of very physical basketball and although rondo clearly instigated the scuffle, i wouldnt call it dirty, i look at that as a case of emotions getting the better of BOTH of them..

i will stop defending rondo on that note, i do understand that a lot of people are upset about the way he’s played his game in this series, and with the number of instances i can see why some are upset that the nba has done nothing to reprimand him, but this to me is basketball at it absolute best.

bulls-celtics may have been born again..

^i can see if they just bumped heads or something but he GRABBED HIS ARM AND THREW HIM INTO THE STANDS. Hinrich was BOUND to respond to some bullshit like that.

regardless… this should make for one hell of a game

Boston won! and Rondo plays dirty he is a good player but to grab Rondo and throw his ass to the ground like if he is trash…that shit was not called for…that is not the streets..u betta act like you know that’s the NBA you get fouled for shit like that causing your ass to be on the bench..he’s a good player but remember where the hell ur at!

Ahhhh… the ole pick and poke. This instantly became one one of my favorite plays of all time — in light of the circumstances. Too bad the Bulls lost though. The Cs bench finally showed up in game 7, but they are still vulnerable and will be home for good shortly.

I’m still effed up about how they did my lakers in game 6 of the finals last year. Hope we can subdue LeBron and Mo nem in June.
