I’m not feeling what he was saying AT ALL.
There is a generation gap between the old school and the new school. Dudes like raekwon are just out of touch with what is happening right now. He’s the equivalent of your grandfather telling you how he used to walk 10 miles to school everyday without any shoes. The rap game is changing, it’s evolving just like rock has evolved and branched out into different genres. Someone who likes John Bonjovi might hate a band like Pantera because they can’t relate, the same way that Raekwon can’t relate to the new artists coming up. The young generation embracing rap music might start of by listening to what’s hot right now but eventualy, if they truly become fans of Hip Hop, they will go and buy or download the artists who originated this music and made it what it is today.

powerz, you must like all of the garbage thats making hip hop a fuking joke nowadays, hese right, not a single new act since 2000, word. on a negative note, this album will never actually come out, hes been saying the same shit since 2006. the rap game can change all it wants, but i demand lyricism to remain the top priority, none of these “new generation” rappers can spit, lil wayne was hot for a minute, then he got too far off with drugs, now hes mediocre and feelin himself way too much, i havent fucked with wayne since the sqad 5 disc. new orleans in the house though,
