It is really beyond me how people who take pride in criticising racism (the negative discrimination arising from attributing certain negative traits to individuals based on their ethnic origins and/or their external appearance) can in turn fall pray to XENOPHOBIA (a very similar moral vice this time associated with nationality, not race) against us Spaniards AS A WHOLE, the “swarthy, cruel foreigers par exellence” as it seems. I can only attribute it to incoherent reasoning probably prompted by some sort of irrational spite, of the same kind as some of the comments here have attributed to Spanish people.

There are 46 million of us. Some are bound to be moronic enough to be racist, but saying we are by definition a racist nation is a flabberghasting distortion of a society that overall, and according to most, is among the friendliest, most easy going and welcoming in the world. XENOPHOBIA AND PREJUDICE IS JUST AS BAD AS RACISM.

For those of you who have been to Spain (or claim to have been): if you go to a country whose ways and customs you do not understand very well, try to look at things without prejudice, with an open mind lest you end up giving off bad vibes and getting them back in return. And, for goodness sake, if you refuse to understand that country and cannot even make some friends to relate to that would prevent you from getting too spiteful, try by all possible means not to stay there for “years” like “I-cannot-spell-and the-only-thing-that-rings-a bell-about-Spain is-Franco” guy above.

Spain and Britain are notorious — at least amongst the educated– as being the originators of that racism shit hundreds of years ago before the slave trade began. So miss me with that “spain is not really racist” crap. U idiot. Fuck spain! Fuck China too. They’re racist as well that’s what they get!! Haaahaaa!!!
