La Rue du Hiphop got footage of a Jay-Z press conference earlier in Montreal where he was asked about Beanie Sigel’s accusations of not being pushed on the Roc-A-Fella label.
Beans is on that typical “what have you done for me lately” and is trying to get his buzz up and even lyrically strong arm (which would never happen) Hov to giving more money.
Hov statement is more realer, than whatever beans has said. I been a Beans fan early, but dude is all late with the diss record 1st of all, 2nd he is always in Jail, and 3rd Hov success has eaten him up. Clearly.
Yes, i would of love to Beans on BP3 besides those corny Drake & company. But look,I deal with Artists, Managers, and Producers all day. People have to understand this a business. once people understand that.. then everything is G money.

dont think jay’s listened to the interview. he’s not bitchin bout the money, he’s just disappointed on how rocafella went down as a whole with sp, pro keds, singles and the court case. he’s more disappointed the way the friendship’s turned out more than his career.
i’m a big jay fan and i see him as a mentor but if that’s how he treats his friends, then he’s not much of a role model.

beans has clarified all this, it was just a front when they found out ROC was breaking up they started buildin a franchise. he also said he didnt want a car but for you to teach him how to fish. you’re the one who said he shouldnt catch the train!

I used to be an unconditional fan of Jay’s music & saw him, not so much as a mentor, but more as a role model for us younger cats.
I mean dude was selling crack 15-16 years ago then like he said he “got focused when he reached the age of 30″ (”All I Need” BP1)
& now he’s going to reach that Billie!!!
Yet it seems that in order for him to reach that he used people & situations then let go of them whenever he didn’t need them anymore.
@ DJ Boogie Monster, yes, it is a business & yes Beans spent most of his time in the wrong places (and probably w/ the wrong ppl)
but we all saw how the ROC became a movement in the late 90’s/early 2000’s & Cotdamn, to me these niggas looked like fam, loyal to each other & true to Jay (remember that “La La La” video w/ Beans mouthing the line “…my man will shoot ya…”).
To me, Money isn’t everything & not a motive to be a shady individual w/the world that surrounds you.
Bill O’Reilly has money, G.W.B. & his family been having money since the 1800’s but that does not make them good people… exactly the image that Jay is trying to portrait to the world.
