@SomeDude: you hit it right on. has nothing to do with race, but everything to do with Social Status, Financial Class, whatever you want to call it. Ive have lower-middle class friends of all race, color, and creed and we are all shit on equally… I hate to tell you, but if you look at statistics, whites kill more whites and blacks kill more blacks. There is far more self genocide then racist crimes or cop killings. think about that for a moment.

do you seriously just look for anything to cry “RACE!” of course when its pointed out 2 of the cops were black, its immediately discredited and only the white is seen. you will never get past racism until you stop crying about it. your not a slave, nobody you know was a slave. white ppl dont get a free pass, they dont get a weekly “white check”. its just easier to cry about white ppl rather than actually do something to better yourself as a person. why is it that upper class black ppl (that dont commit crimes) dont seem to have any of these problems? when was the last time you heard Oprah the victim of racism? How about Bill Cosby? Oh i know, they must be sellouts or uncle toms. give it a rest already. why is it that the movement isnt PRO Hispanic, PRO Native American, Pro Asian, Pro Middle Eastern??? Its all a self centered act. to encompass all WHITES is racists in itself, but your selfish needs blind you to that big fact. you should be more for the HUMAN race and less for “your people” and maybe someone will actually listen…. but if your trying to alienate one race to promote another, nobody is ever going to listen. there are plenty of white ppl killed by cops in violent fashions. difference is, other white ppl dont make a huge deal about it, so it doesnt make national media, so you just ASSUME this only happens to black ppl… im sure most of your will be completely blinded by your own self pity and miss the entire point of my comment. there are white ppl that have it just as bad as you, and your a blind, ignorant, fool if you think different! It is not about race.

The 3 cops are from 3 different backgrounds. Two of them are black. The police recruit more and more minorities all the time. Almost all police come from poor and working class families, just like the armed forces. The army and police prey on poor and under-educated peoples, looking for new recruits.

Is IS about class.

If Sean Bell was the son of a rich man, you bet these cops would have gone to jail. If Sean Bell had a masters degree and a million dollar house, you bet these cops would be in jail.

All peoples, one struggle. The police are a tool used by the rich ruling class to keep us in line.

We all know if Sean Bell was killed by a black folk you would go quick into Stop Snitching mode! How many black folk have died at the hands of other black folk and you did what? How many police killing a year of black folk are there compared to black on black crime. Were you protesting marching and or trying to make a change then. Shut the fuck up all you dumb mother fuckers. Mos Def is from Bed Stuy brooklyn one of the most crime infested areas in New York and I never seen or heard him speak out about the gang violence and the black on black crime there ever. But let a cop come over there and kill a black folk then he and everyone else will be up in arms! All of you shut the fuck up and read up on the Black Panthers then take it from there.
