Dont get me wrong the cd is excellent I’m bumpin it now and will buy an actual copy but I wouldnt say classic it has slip ups…and no matter how you try to justify it is still an R&B album not hip – hop. The move was fresh on his part but I will not be adding this to his past album…..this goes in Ye’s R&B section lol. Now if you want to talk about damn near classic Theater Of The Mind…

The 808’s and Heartbreak is a good album I see where its going.
At the same time as long as the whole world doesn’t shift what there doing and start trying to make auto tune albums.(to those rappers not mainstream and those in the streets i appreciate your music)

I think when Kanye says things like rap is boring when the third first drops is wrong.
(”History” Jay-Z all there of those verses is wack pardon the beat bein wack on my opinion)

The real life aspect is kool….nigg@$ that got money kno money aint shyt…tomorrow aint promised we all kno that shyt.

    Its a good album
    all and all
but, kanye and the people in hiphop
NOT streets are apart of something bigger than music.(its pushing something you got to research your self)
..its not music understand these people have different beliefs.
Its a good album im glad its not like the Carter 3…they pushed sex, money, and drugs
lollipop, a milli, and i got money.
With Kanye album its different it kool, but its not the streets….. the streets don’t have a say in this shyt.

As a person kanyes a bitch ass fag boii which he is.

“My Apartment is to nice to listen to rap” -Kanye west

like the album abit shakey in parts but hip hop it ain’t and ye knows this, i like what he did as he says pushing the envolope and all but i also its reflection of the state of mind he is in right now in light due to circumstance

big up to kanye for pushing uk talent peace
    peace

“808s & Heartbreak” is defenetly another classic from Kanye and the best in 2008.

Yea…this kid likes it. I say kid cuz im only 19 and i think i have an odd taste in music and this definitely tickles my fancy. My ipod goes from bumping Frank Sinatra to Black Sabbath to A Tribe Called Quest so this will definitely fit in. I’ve been with Ye since day 1 and been loving his projects ever since. I understand everything he does and why he does it. I guess its just phases,u go thru phases in life and this one of course is the most different one we’ve seen from Ye. Obviously he’s going thru some shit and he’s somewhat in a dark place but i hope the success of this album lifts his spirit and lets him know dat his real fans are with him no matter wut. So keep making music and ill listen…Dats my comment

i like how he hooked up with kaws at the last min. to drop the actual album art.

  16. Bemi December 10, 2008 @ 9:02 am

Hip hop or not. for me this one of the worst albums ALL TIME! It takes a truely arrogant artist to try sing when they have no voice.

Autotune does not cover it I’m afraid!!
